Francesca, and her travel companion and best friend, Claudia arrived safely in Delhi after the long journey from Seattle. Francesca showed a few of her favorite places in Delhi Claudia, who is visiting India for the first time. We asked her what her impression of India was after her first day. Claudia noted the “very crowded busy streets with crazy drivers; very nice, friendly people. The monuments were very interesting. All the intricate details and patterns were fantastic . The Qutab Minar was especially fascinating.” Lodhi Gardens were a quiet respite from the chaos in the streets. Rickshaws weren’t as scary as she thought they would be, and were fun to ride in. “I was exceedingly amazed at how they would squeeze in between the cars.”
