Francesca andClaudia are now in Udaipur. Udaipur is different than other cities in India, at least in the touristy area in the old part of the city. It sits on the edge of Lake Pichola giving it almost a resort feel. A lot of the hotels are old havelis, or traditional houses, some with the family still in residence and most of them having roof top restsurants. Francesca and Claudia’s haveli hotel sits right on the lake. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. And it comes with a puppy!
Being in the old town, the roads are very narrow, many too narrow for cars, but still tons of motorcycles, rickshaws, cows, and people, both locals and tourists.
Claudia and Francesca have enjoyed exploring the area, and getting their exercise as everything is uphill from their hotel.
