Have you always wanted to know what it’s like to find the treasures of Sankara? Join us on our traditional style adventure through India! The adventure will start in Delhi with a tour of the heart of the city to see the grandeur of New Delhi. Then, we will explore our favorite places such as Qutab Minar and Hauz Khas. We’ll also see and smell the soul of the city with visits to the Spice Market and Old Delhi. From Delhi, we will fly to Kochi in Kerala. We will make our way up to the Periyar National Park where we’ll spend time on the lake. We will see if we can spot the tigers that live in the park! After looking for the wildlife, we’ll find ourselves relaxing on a houseboat as we sail the backwaters of Alappuzha. Then, while in Kochi, we’ll see the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, learn the history of the spice trade, and be amazed by the traditional dances!
After our refreshing stay in Kerala, we’ll make our way north to Jaipur, the Jewel of the Desert! We’ll see the wonders of the City Palace, Amber Fort, and have an afternoon with the elephants at a trusted sanctuary. We’ll also take in the wonders of the Taj Mahal and mysteries of Fatehpur Sikri. From the peaks and valleys of the Himalayas to the desert of Rajasthan to the awe of the Taj Mahal, you’ll see the best that India has to offer!
